After graduating from high school in NW Georgia in 1979 I enlisted in the military. I went to jump school at Ft. Benning, GA, then on to S/F training at Ft Bragg NC. I later deployed to East Africa.
After 8 years of service, I went into home construction for several years then moved on to a sales career consisting of 22 years in a professional sales career. I earned my real estate license in 2005 and my brokers' license several years later. I hold a GRI a CRS & MRP designation and an specialize in Property Management, listing and selling residential and rural homes and properties. I built a property management division within our office and now maintain an inventory of 50+ residential homes and duplexes. Currently, I serve on the board of directors of the Lake City Board of Realtors® and past president 2017. I was voted by my peer's Realtor® of the Year in 2015. I also, serve on the board of directors for The Habitat for Humanities as the family selection director for the Lake City/Columbia County area.
I have 3 children. I enjoyed serving as head coach for the Lake City football team ages 11-13 for 9 years and the girls' middle school soccer coach. I am an NPC natural physique competitor and have been training and teaching fitness and nutrition for over 35 years and I compete in the IBJJF as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Practitioner.
