Steve attended High School in Connecticut prior to college. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, he moved to Stuart, Florida in 1969.
Steve received his real estate license at age 19 and his Broker’s license in 1983, when he joined Dutcher-Higginbotham and Bass, Inc. He earned his GRI designation (Graduate of Realtor® Institute for the Florida Association of Realtors® in 1993 and his CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist) from affiliate of the National Association of Estate Brokerage Manager) designation. Since then Steve has continued his Real Estate Education earning the ePro and CLHMS designations. He is also a member of FIABCI, ( The International Real Estate Federation).
Steve was a Director of the Realtors® Association of Martin County for 7 years. He was also a past member of the Board of Directors of the local American Cancer Society. Steve is a Neighborhood Advisory Committee member for Jensen Beach. He was elected for this position in 2009 by the Martin County Commission and is still an active member. He is the President of the St. Lucie Condominium office building. He donates his time at by St. Mary’s Church distributing food to the needy and serves as a member of the Red Cross disaster team from St. Mary’s Church on a monthly basis. In the event of a local disaster, Steve serves on the Red Cross Disaster Team for St. Mary’s Church. Steve is also a past director of the Martin County Literacy Council.
A lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club, Steve has consistently earned the Board of Realtor®’s highest sales achievement awards. For the past two years, Steve has been recognized by Illustrated Properties as one of the top five agents out of over 500 agents. He is the top producing agent for Illustrated Properties in Martin County, selling between $12,000,000—$15,000,000 a year. In addition to handling individual properties, Steve was Project and Sales Manager for the Hillcrest Subdivision in Sewall’s Point, the Sea Subdivision in Rocky Point, and Dutcher Estates in Stuart.
