Jim Davey received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 1986 with a Major in Real Estate. Jim´s twenty plus years experience prior to starting DAVEY Properties includes being a top producing Real Estate Broker with Cypress Realty & Mortgage and Prudential California Realty representing the top 3% of agents nationwide. In addition, he was a Chief Appraiser and Real Estate Consultant for TRW as well as the principal and owner of Davey Appraisal Services. Jim also spent a number of years as a Financial Consultant with Crossroads Capital Management and AXA Advisors, specializing in Investment Management and Estate Planning. He has his CA Real Estate Broker´s License and has held a Series 7 Securities License, a Series 66 Investment Advisors License, a CA State Insurance License and a Certified Residential Appraiser's License.
Over the years, Jim has organized a team of industry associates who all work diligently together to create successful transactions. From title representatives, mortgage specialists and escrow officers to appraisers and inspectors, all areas are covered with top-notch professionals.
In addition to his CA Broker’s License, Jim has his designation and CRS, Council of Residential Specialist also completed his SFR, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification. In 2010, he also received his NNPA Premier Agent designation from Loan Resolution Corp of which there are less than 1,000 designees nationally. Jim and his team are currently working with sellers through the HAMP and HAFA programs as well as the traditional short sale process. His recent course work includes:
