Prior to my real estate life, I was the owner/operator of a dance school for 18-years and my reputation as an enthusiastic, ethical, hard working individual has followed me. Having moved to Mount Vernon in 1966, I have come to know the area VERY well and I delight in pointing out the many advantages of life in this beautiful rural valley to newcomers. My goal is always to locate that "perfect home" for Buyers - and with Sellers, to customize a personal marketing plan and then implement it. Many satisfied customers will agree I live up to my motto: "You Can Depend On Me".

Because I feel it is important to keep abreast of industry changes and advancements, I have been very involved in both the local and the state real estate associations. As the 1997 President of Skagit County Association of Realtors®, my primary focus was on promoting awareness of, and adherence to, the Realtors®' Code of Ethics. I have continued to serve in a "watch dog" capacity at both the local and state levels, as well as serving as Treasurer of the Washington Association of Realtors®.

A consistent Multi-Million Dollar producer since 1989, I have been the humble recipient of numerous Local & State Realtor® awards.

Understanding that continuing education is necessary to be a respected and successful real estate counselor, I have sought out the nationally top rated instructors. The ABR, CRS, GRI, & SRES designations have been achieved thru many additional hours of continuing education.

Community involvement has included several organizations - with 18 years on the Skagit Valley College Foundation Board of Governors being the longest duration! I also served on the Board of the Skagit Performing Arts Council, which was a major player in the creation of McIntyre Hall, an $18,000,000 performing arts center in April 2003 located on the Skagit Valley College campus. I have also served as an on-going member of the Board of Directors of the Friendship House, which provides homeless shelters in Mount Vernon for those who can show they deserve a "hand up". This is a great community! I would be delighted to be your tour guide....
